ABOUT

HUICHICA MUSIC FESTIVAL

Since 2010, Huichica Music Festival (pronounced wah-CHEE-ka) has provided a refreshing take on the music festival experience. A pioneer in a new breed of micro-festival, Huichica is built on the concept that wine, food, and music are best shared in beautiful, intimate settings with a warm and friendly attitude. Each year Huichica presents a hand-picked line up of psychedelic surf rock, indie and folk acts and pairs them with regional culinary talent and wines from Gundlach Bundschu Winery. Away from the crowds, there is no bad seat at this family-friendly boutique festival. Pack a blanket, relax and blend in with the crowd of musicians, wine enthusiasts, foodies and music fans.

Presented by (((FolkYEAH!))), Gundlach Bundschu’s sixth generation vintner Jeff Bundschu, and Eric D. Johnson.

WEST:

Set amongst the stunning vineyards of Gundlach Bundschu Winery, Huichica West delivers two days of music, wine and food in a laid back atmosphere.  There are four stages offering an ongoing exploration of music, the Hillside Amphitheater, the Cave Stage, the Giraffe Stage and the historic Old Redwood Barn. Food options are available from respected Bay Area restaurants, all paired with wines from Gundlach Bundschu. Camp at a stage, visit the kid zone with your little ones, or just roam around with a glass and take in the chill vibe.

EAST:

Since 2016 Hudson Valley has hosted Huichica East, our East Coast incarnation of the popular Sonoma festival. Set at the beautiful and expansive Chaseholm Farm just south of Hudson, NY, Huichica East replicates the heart of Huichica, with epic pastoral settings,  great music, tasty farm-grown food, and lovely people.

CHASEHOLM FARM

Chaseholm Farm is the site for Huichica East. Located 25 miles south of Hudson, New York, the farm is outside the town of Pine Plains. It is a pastoral, 300-acre grass-based dairy operated by third generation farmer Sarah Chase. They produce milk products for direct sale and to supply the artisanal Chaseholm Farm Creamery, operated by Sarah’s brother Rory, as well as organically farmed grass-fed beef and pork.
